Win the Day Compete Clinic - 5th - 8th Grade

Week Two: July 8 - July 12

This clinic is all about competition - every skill, every drill, every game - score will be kept! The increased level of competition will lead to an increased level of focus from our players and coaches.

Each day starts with a 45 minute film & whiteboard session with Staples HS and/or College Coaches. The session will be used to review the practice plan for the day, introduce the teaching points of each drill, and will include a segment on offensive and defensive technique. Players should bring a lacrosse notebook for this portion of the clinic.

Throughout the week, drills will be filmed and then used for review on later days in the week. We are placing an emphasis on competition and development.

Following the film & whiteboard session, the clinic will head to the field to see who will Win The Day! Players will be grouped by age and ability and will compete in a variety of drills and games to increase our compete factor.

Due to the design of the clinic, the overall number of playersand age groups will be limited.

College coaches and players will be in attendance to coach the sessions, as well as Staples HS Coaches. This is an awesome way for rising 9th graders to prepare for HS Lacrosse.

Win the Day Compete Clinic is open to 25 players ONLY in each of the following groups:

For the current school year of 2023-2024:

7th and 8th - 25 players

5th and 6th - 25 players

8:30 - 11:00am @ Staples HS Stadium, Staples HS Lacrosse  Locker Room

Monday through Thursday with Friday as a makeup day!
